In the first round, Paul dropped Perry with a right to the chin, resulting in an 8-count from referee Christopher Young. In the second round, Perry, walking towards Paul with his hands at his sides, was dropped again by a right hand.

Out of frustration, Perry flipped Paul to the canvas in the final minute. In the third round, Perry sustained a cut on his right eyebrow. Paul’s jab targeted Perry’s bloody face in the fourth round, and in the final seconds, Paul rocked Perry with another right to the chin, staggering him.

In the fifth round, Perry kept chasing Paul, walking into jab after jab. In the sixth round, a combination culminating in a left hook from Paul to the chin sent Perry down for another 8-count from referee Young. Upon rising, Perry stumbled, prompting Young to halt the fight.

In the co-main event, WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO World featherweight champ Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) stopped WBF Int’l lightweight champ Stevie Morgan (14-2, 10 KOs) in the second round of a scheduled 10×2 round contest.

In a rematch, lightweight Tony Aguilar (12-1-1, 4 KOs) lost to Corey ‘Too Smooth’ Markson (10-0-1, 7) over eight rounds.

In the second through the fourth rounds, Markson drew blood from the nose of Aguilar in the second, who does too much holding after throwing one punch.

In the fifth round, Aguilar finally decided to fight and had a good round. Markson had a slight edge in the sixth round, landing a right to the head. Aguilar has a mark under his left eye. In the eighth and final round, both had their moments.

The scores were 76-75, 76-75 and 76-76.

Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs) won a questionable decision over UFC fighter Uriah ‘Prime Time’ Hall (1-1) by a six-round decision.

In the first two rounds, returning after a 2 ½ year layoff, 38-year-old Chavez outwored Hall. In the third the aggressive Hall landed a 3-punch combination and drove Chavez into the ropes.

In the fourth and fifth rounds, Chavez began to slow down as Hall kept the pressure on him. In the sixth and final round, Hall seemed to even the score by pressuring the fatigued Chavez.

The scores were 59-55, 59-55  and 58-56.

Super middleweight Shadasia ‘The Sweet Terminator’ Green (14-1, 11 KOs) defeated Natasha ‘The Nightmare’ Spence (8-5-2, 6 KOs) over 8×2 rounds, coming off the canvas in the seventh round.

In the first six rounds, it was all Green, with Spence on the receiving end doing much holding.

In the seventh round, in the final seconds, an overhand right from Spence on the chin and down went Green for an 8-count from referee Alicia Collins. In the eighth and final round, Green was holding, with Spence landing what little punches there were.

The scores were 78-73, 78-74 and 78-74. I scored it 77-74.

Middleweight Alexis ‘Chop Chop’ Chaparro ( 3-0, 2 KO) knocked out Kevin Hill (1-2, 1 KO) at 2:01 of the second round of a scheduled four rounds.

In the first round, it was all Chaparro with his jab over the shorter Hill. In the second round, a chopping right hurt Hill with a left to the chin on the way down and out as Referee Christopher Young counted him out.

Super bantamweight Angel ‘AK-47’ Barrientes (12-1, 7 KOs) won a majority decision over Edwin ‘Puto’ Rodriguez (12-9-2, 5 KOs) over six rounds.

In the first round, Barrientes had his jab in the face of the smaller Rodriguez for two minutes. Then, in the final minute, Rodriguez threw punches in bunches. Barrientes had a slight edge in the second round, with both being busy. In the third round, again, it was all Barrientes with a jab and occasional left hooks.

In the fourth round, Rodriguez got inside Barrientes’s jab and to the body well. In the fifth round, it was close, with Barrientes pulling it out. In the sixth and final round, Barrientes let his hands go and looked good.

The scores were 57-57, 60-54 and 60-54.
