By Ken Hissner: Hal Bagwell of Glocester, UK won 63 fights in a row between 1935 and 1948 ending with a record of 100-5-8 with 37 knockouts.

Packey McFarland of Chicago, Illinois was 70-0-5 with 50 knockouts between 1905 and 1915 winning 75 without a defeat.

Pedro Carrasco of Huelva, Spain, was 11-0-1 when he lost and then went onto go to 103-1-2 when he lost to Manuel Ramos for the WBC Lightweight title that he defeated Ramos on by DQ in their previous match for the vacant title and winning 92 in a row before losing to Ramos in back to back fights.

“Sugar” Ray Robinson out of Harlem, New York was 40-0 when he lost to Jake LaMotta, 30-5-2 at the Olympia Stadium, Detroit, Michigan.

He had defeated LaMotta in a previous fight and went onto defeat him three times. He was 129-1-2 when he lost again to Randy Turpin, 40-2-1 in the UK and in a rematch defeated him. He had won 87 fights with a pair of draws between 1943 and 1951.

Julio ‘JC’ Cesar Chavez was 89-0-1 when he lost to Frankie ‘The Surgeon’ Randall, 48-2-1 snapping a 90 fight winning streak. He won the rematch and then lost to Oscar “Golden Boy” De La Hoya, 21-0.

In September of 1984 Chavez won the vacant WBC Super Featherweight title stopping Mario Martinez, 33-1-2. In November of 1987 he won the WBA and WBC Lightweight title stopping Edwin Rosario, 31-2. In May of 1989 he won the vacant Super Lightweight title stopping Roger Mayweather, 34-5.
